This study is strictly confidential and only the researchers will have access to the information. Any information obtained in connection with this project and that can identify you will remain confidential. Your questionnaire responses will be recorded on a computer that will be stored in a locked office at the University of Melbourne. Your contact details will not be linked with your questionnaire responses. Only the study investigators will have access to your questionnaire information. Your name and contact details will not be recorded on the vaginal swab container – only a non-identifying code will be used. Only the study investigators will have access to your swab results. The laboratory testing your specimen will not have any access to your name or contact details – they will only have access to your unique non-identifying code recorded on the vaginal swab container. You will choose how you wish to receive your results.

Participation is voluntary
Participation in any research project is voluntary. If you do not wish to take part you are not obliged to. If you decide to take part and later change your mind, you are free to withdraw from the project at any stage. Your decision whether to take part or not to take part, or to take part and then withdraw will not affect any relationship you may have with The University of Melbourne or your doctor or clinic. You can withdraw from the project at any time.
