 Street Sex Worker Outreach Program Minimize

Melbourne Sexual Health Centre (MSHC) offers an off-site service (outreach) specifically for street sex workers. This service is coordinated by advanced sexual health nurses and provides street sex workers with: 
• Free testing and treatment for Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) 
• Hepatitis B vaccination 
• Pap smears 
• Contraceptive advice 
• Emergency contraception (morning after pill) 
• Education and brief counselling for any concerns about sexual health, STIs, sexual relationships etc.

The nurses who conduct the program are trained to make an assessment and, when necessary, referral to a doctor.

The Street Sex Worker Outreach program is available on Thursdays from 3:30pm until 7:00pm and Fridays from 5:00pm until 11:00pm.

The location of this off-site service is at RhED (formerly the Prostitutes Collective of Victoria). RhED is situated at 10 Inkerman Street, St Kilda.
