An essential component of the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre (MSHC) is the various outreach clinics and off-site programs we deliver throughout Victoria. These services provide education, testing and treatment for Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) to people in the broader community. They are specifically targeted at people who for various reasons are not able to access the general clinic on Swanston St in Carlton.
MSHC staff co-ordinate these services in an attempt to reduce the transmission of STIs in groups who are seen to be in a “higher risk category”.
Communities that are currently being serviced are:
Indigenous Australian’s Sexual Health Program
STI screening in Sex On Premises Venues
Street Sex Worker Outreach Program
