This study looked at HIV testing preferences of men who have sex with men (MSM). In total, 1606 men participated in an online survey.

We found that a subset of MSM, particularly those who test infrequently for HIV, value access to HIV self-testing. Expanding access to HIV self-testing kits through online portals and pharmacies and at sex venues should be considered.
